The client will accept the terms and conditions of Smit Shuttle Service (Pty) Ltd. 

 A 50% deposit is needed upon acceptance of the quote. Deposit to be paid at least 2 working days after acceptance of the quote in writing (see “Acceptance of quote”).

 The booking will be reserved once deposit is paid and will be secured once full payment is received. Full payment is due at least 7 working days before departure.

 A cancellation fee of 30% of the total quote amount applies at any time, however, cancellations made seven (7) or less business days before departure date, will result in a forfeiture of the full 50% deposit. The client will, at any time, have an option of making one (1) date change for a trip to be undertaken within 30 days of date change, should the trip be cancelled for whatever reason.

 No smoking or alcohol consumption during the trip by any of the passengers. Rest stops will be made on route.

  Passengers to strictly adhere to agreed departure times, so as to ensure timeous arrival as far as possible, taking into consideration travel time and traffic congestion. Smit Shuttle Service (Pty) Ltd cannot accept responsibility for late arrival due to circumstances beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions and/or traffic congestion. Please ensure ample time for arrival in the case of flights or meetings.

 While we go to great lengths to ensure the safety of persons and property, all persons entering Smit Shuttle Shuttle (Pty) Ltd vehicle and/or property owned by smit Shuttle service (Pty) Ltd or under its control, do so entirely at their own risk and the liability of Smit Shuttle Service (Pty) Ltd excluded for any loss or damages (including consequential or special damages or loss of profits), loss of life, bodily injury or damage to or loss of property, of whatsoever nature and howsoever caused and whether or not caused by any form of negligence of Smit Shuttle Service(Pty) Ltd its directors, its officers, servants, agents or any other person acting on behalf of Smit Shuttle Shuttle(Pty) Ltd, arising out of or connected in any way with the conveyance or non-conveyance by Smit Shuttle Service(Pty) Ltd of any passenger or persons and/or the property of any passengers or persons.

IF A PASSENGER CANCELS THE TRANSFER FOR ANY OTHER REASON BESIDES MEDICAL EMERGENCY (WITH PROOF FROM A RECOGNIZED MEDICAL PRACTITIONER) OR DEATH, THERE WILL BE NO REFUND. REIMBERSMENT IS BASED ON THE DECISION TAKEN BY THE DIRECTORS OF SMIT SHUTTLE SERVICE.

SMIT SHUTTLE SERVICED AND THE EMPLOYEES OF THE AFORESAID COMPANY, WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR THE SAFETY OF PASSENGERS, BEFORE BOARDING THE SHUTTLE, WHILE WAITING FOR THEIR COLLECTION.

EACH PASSENGER IS NOTIFIED THROUGH WHATSAPP COMMUNICATION AND A LIVE LOCATION IS SENT TO THEM, OF THE ROUTE PROGESS.  TIME DELAYS CAN BE CAUSED BY EMERGENCY BOOKINGS, EMERGENCY EXTRACTIONS, ROAD CONDITIONS, WEATHER CONDITIONS, ROAD WORKS, ROAD BLOCKS, ACCIDENTS AND MEDICAL CONDITIONS OF PASSENGERS TRAVELING ON THE SHUTTLE.

THE SHUTTLE ADMINISTRATOR'S CONTACT NUMBER IS SENT TO EACH PASSENGER THROUGH COMMUNICATION ON THE DAY OF TRAVEL, PLEASE CONTACT THAT NUMBER AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN VERY CAREFULLY;  TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT OR UNNECESSARY CONFLICT.

SHUTTLE ADMINISTRATOR WILL ONLY COMMUNICATE WITH THE PEOPLE SCHEDULED ON THE ROUTE PLANNER FOR THAT DAY OF TRAVEL, ALL OTHER INQUIRIES MUST BE COMMUNICATED TO SMIT SHUTTLE SERVICE ADMINISTRATION STAFF ON 0837732119.

THE SHUTTLE DRIVER AND SHUTTLE ADMINISTRATOR ARE NOT PERMITTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, TO CHANGE ANY DETAILS OF ANY PASSENGER ON THE ROUTE, WITHOUT PRIOR CONSENT OF THE DIRECTORS OF SMIT SHUTTLE SERVICE.

AIRPORT DROP OFFS ARE OUR FIRST PRIORITY!  In the event of delay caused by unforeseen circumstances, the current route will be adjusted enroute, all other drop offs and collections will be rescheduled according.  Passengers with deadlines, will be assisted first.  We try our utmost to ensure airport passengers are at the airport in time to check in for their flight, in the event that a passenger/s is late for or misses their flight, Smit Shuttle Service will not be held responsible for the reimbursement of the flight ticket or any part thereof!
If a passenger has a medical condition, please advise the shuttle staff and send the person's medication if it is necessary to administer this during the journey.  Smit Shuttle staff are not qualified medical staff and do not take responsibility for any passengers who are ill, injured or unfit to travel.  This is solely the responsibility of the traveler and the person who arranged the  passenger's transfer.

STRICTLY NO CHEQUES!  Payment options - internet banking, cell phone banking, direct deposit, cash (in extenuation circumstances conditional to Director approval).

Total amount must be paid before departure.

Prices are subject to change, without prior notification, due to fuel price increases.

No entrance fees included.

Smoking, alcohol and all other addictive substances and the use thereof, are strictly prohibited!  Any passenger disregarding this regulation will be immediately removed from the vehicle and have to find an alternative mode of transportation.

PASSENGERS WHO DISRESPECT SMIT SHUTTLE SERVICE PERSONNEL OR UNDERMINE THE INTEGRITY AND REPUTATION OF SMIT SHUTTLE SERVICE OR ANY OF IT'S EMPLOYEES, IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER, WILL BE BLACKLISTED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.  BLACKLISTING IS AN IMMEDIATE BAN FROM TRAVELING WITH OUR COMPANY.

FOR PASSENGERS BLACKLISTED DURING TRANSFERS - THE SHUTTLE WILL BE STOPPED, THEIR LUGGAGE REMOVED AND THE PASSENGER WILL EXIT THE VEHICLE IMMEDIATLY.  BLACKLISTED PASSENGERS WILL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE RECEIVE ANY FORM OF REFUND / REIMBURSEMENT WHATSOEVER!

Passengers found responsible for breakage of or damage to any part of the vehicle, will be held liable.

Smit Shuttle Service is not responsible for any lost or damaged item/s of a personal nature.
